About Us
Family That Golfs Together Stays Together
LDGO was born out of a surprise birthday party in 2009 as the Douglas Family gathered to celebrate a special milestone birthday of one of their own. One of the most memorable family gatherings and a hole-in-one to boot, the family decided this was a tradition in the making.
An Experience Like No Other
We offer the right mix to make this your favorite golf outing of the year. Our well-planned itinerary takes out all the stress so you can just enjoy the day. A beautiful and well-maintained golf course serves as the centerpiece of this golf outing. Known as Lake Geneva area's best golf value with 27 holes of championship golf, at Evergreen Golf Club, you can enjoy putting contests or test your skills against the pro. The 19th green keeps the fun going with a one-of-a-kind steak dinner, door prizes, and drinks when the sun goes down!
Why do we do this?
It's not just for the fun. When the day is done, all of this is for a charitable cause. We donate to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society because our dad, Andrew, passed at the age of 75 of Lymphoma and our mom, Helen, at the age of 91 of myelodysplastic syndrome, a type of blood cancer. Both loved to golf and passed that passion to their children. We celebrate them each year by hosting a golf outing and the family makes a donation in honor of our parents.
Meet Our Founders
The annual Laddie Douglas Golf Outing is delivered by the tireless work of the Douglas siblings. Working year-long, this powerful team of siblings bring their unique skills, expertise, and perspectives to the table to find new ways of improving the experience each year for our guests, while continuing to put on the core event for which LDGO has become known. This dynamic group prove that a team is greater than the sum of its parts and their collaboration, creativity, and innovation produce a truly special experience. The Douglas siblings are united by a shared vision and a strong sense of purpose to carry on a family legacy and pay it forward through an annual charitable donation.
